Refunds and cancellation.

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how cancellation and refunds work for paid subscriptions on kaahani, operated by CHRONOSEIZE 42 TECH PRIVATE LIMITED. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
2. Plans
kaahani offers a free tier with limited access and a paid subscription with expanded access, billed in advance for the plan period you choose. Current plans and prices are shown inside the app before you pay.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the app's subscription settings, through the store you purchased on, or by contacting support. When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period;
- You are not charged for the next billing cycle;
- After the paid period ends, your account moves to the free tier;
- If your subscription is collected under a recurring payment mandate (for example UPI AutoPay), cancelling the subscription also stops future collections under that mandate.
4. When a refund is available
A payment is eligible for a refund if:
- You were charged twice for the same period due to a technical error;
- You were charged after your cancellation was processed;
- The transaction was unauthorized (subject to verification);
- You were charged an incorrect amount;
- The app does not function as described, or persistent technical issues prevent you from using what you paid for, and you contact us within 7 days of the charge.
5. When a refund is not available
kaahani delivers digital content: a subscription is considered delivered once its content is made available to you in the app. Payments are not refundable for:
- Change of mind after using the service;
- Partial use of a subscription period (unused days are not refunded pro rata);
- Failure to cancel before the renewal date;
- Subscriptions purchased under a promotional offer or at a discounted price;
- Suspension or termination for violation of our Terms & Conditions.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund:
- Email support@kaahani.app;
- Include the phone number or identifier your account uses;
- Provide the transaction ID or the date of the charge;
- Explain the reason for the request.
7. Refund processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method:
- UPI payments: within 5 to 7 business days;
- Credit and debit cards: within 7 to 10 business days;
- Wallets: within 5 to 7 business days;
- Google Play purchases: processed according to Google's policies.
